Description

The Smith Tomb, located 8 meters south of the south porch door of the Church of St Andrew, is a pedestal tomb dating from the late 18th century. It features a pointed and fluted square dome on top, a fluted frieze, and upright elliptical inscription panels. The tomb has a cavetto base and is set on a large slab elevated above the path. The inscription reads "SMITH 1819," although the memorial likely predates this date, as other inscriptions have worn away.
