Description
Poolway House is a manor house that has been converted into a guest house. It dates from the early 17th century, with a front that was added in the mid 18th century. The building is rendered and has a concrete tile roof, with brick stacks on the left and ridge, and a projecting stone stack on the right. It consists of a single range with two-storey extensions at the front corners. The house is two storeys high and features a gabled attic dormer on the right, set behind a parapet wall. There are five 12-pane sash windows with boxes on the face of the wall, adorned with stone voussoirs, keystones, and moulded stone sills. The wide central door has six fielded panels and is topped by a flat stone hood supported by brackets.
