Description

ST BRIAVELS MORK SO 50 NE 2/177 Sladbrook Cottage - II Shown on SO 50 NE as Smithy. Cottage and mill, now dwelling. Late C18 or early C19. Rendered, asbestos cement slate roof to right and triple Roman tile to left. Original cottage, right, is two storeys, 3-windowed, 12-pane sashes to stone cills and striated stone voussoirs with decorative keystone, central 6-panel moulded door and fanlight, flat stone hood on consoles. To left a long painted rubble 2-storey wing with various openings including one small 2-light shuttered window under segmental head. At the back of the cottage the roof is swept down and the building is partly over Mork Stream.
