Description
This is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, about 9 meters southeast of the southeast corner of the south aisle of the Church of St. Mary. It dates from 1757 and is made of stone. The tomb features a flat lid with a moulded edge. The south side displays high relief rococo carving surrounding the inscription, while the north side has a fielded panel with scalloped corners. The east end is plain with a raised panel that also has scalloped corners. The west side features high relief rococo carving around a verse, with a skull and bones depicted below. The inscription shows some weathering at the top, but the remaining lettering, including the date, is in good condition.
