Description

Tudor Cottage is a house that likely dates back to the 17th century and was enlarged in the early 18th century. It features a timber-framed structure with painted brick nogging, and the right extension is built of half brick and half stone, topped with a tiled roof. The house has three bays and one and a half storeys, with a single-storey extension on the right.

On the right side of the timber-framed section, there is a 2-light casement window and a boarded door located under a half-glazed lean-to porch. To the left, there is a 3-light casement window and another boarded door, which is situated under a lattice wooden porch that has a segmental sheet metal head. A small window is also present on the left side. Above, there are two lean-to dormers on either side of the second door.

The house has a chimney on the ridge at the right-hand gable and a brick chimney at the end of the second bay. The left return features a boarded door on the right under a lean-to roof supported by brackets, with a brick chimney located outside the main body of the house. The original house consists of two bays, with an additional bay added in timber framing on the left and a later single-storey extension on the right. The interior has not been inspected.
