Description

This milestone, located about 200 meters north of the junction with Worcester Road, is likely from the early 18th century and has been reset. It is made of stone and is low, measuring about 250 millimeters thick. The top is weathered, while the front face has been smoothed for lettering and painted white. The letters are sans serif and painted black, although part of the inscription is missing, and there is a chip on the face. The inscription reads 'GLOST../6/MILES', with 'VI' inscribed on the back.
