Description

Hill House and Rowley House is a farmhouse that has been converted into two dwellings. It dates from the early 19th century and features a rendered exterior with a concrete tile roof and a brick stack at the right end. The building has a long, narrow shape with a lean-to at the back. It is two storeys high and has four windows, which are 12 over 16-pane sashes set in broad surrounds. There is a 20th-century glazed door in the first bay and another similar door in the porch located in the third bay. The cottages or farm may have originally been associated with a now-destroyed mill.
