Description

The Morgan Memorial is a pedestal tomb located approximately 10 metres west of the south-west corner of the Church of St Peter. It dates from the 18th century, with the earliest decipherable date being 1833. The memorial features a square pedestal on a base, which was formerly surrounded by a railing. It is adorned with fluted Roman Doric corner columns, a reeded cornice, and a moulded domical top. The inscription reads "MORGAN, 1833."
