Description
This is a late 18th and early 19th century house. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick with a limestone plinth, and features rusticated limestone quoins. The roof is grey slate with rectangular brick end stacks, and has dentilled eaves. A red brick extension with a corrugated iron roof is located at the rear right. The main body of the house is two and a half storeys high, with fixed 8-pane casements to the upper storey and 16-pane sashes below. All windows on the front facade have rusticated limestone quoins with keystones. Rear and gable end windows have segmental brick heads. The central front entrance has a painted 6-pane door, dating from the 19th century, with its original knocker and letter box, set beneath a flat limestone lintel. Attached to the front of the house on the right is a spear-headed railing with a central gate.
