Description

The Vicarage and stable block were built in 1805. The vicarage is constructed of coursed, squared, and dressed limestone with an ashlar facade to the rear, while the stable block features squared and dressed limestone with an ashlar facade to the right wall, and a red brick extension to the rear gable. Both buildings have slate roofs. The vicarage has rectangular ashlar gable-end stacks and a grey slate roof with flat coped gables and an eaves parapet with a string course. It is arranged on a 'T' shaped plan, with an outshut attached to the rear right, forming the angle of the 'T', and a stable block attached to the right of the outshut.

The three-storey main body of the vicarage has a three-window front. Windows to the top floor are two-light casements with horizontal glazing bars; the other windows are twelve-pane sashes, all with keystones. Lower windows have wavy-edged boards below the lintels. A former central doorway has been replaced with a window. The present entrance is through a three-sided porch located in the angle of the 'T' on the rear left.

The stable block is single-storey with a converted hayloft above accessible by steps from the yard. It has double and single doors in the facade, with a band above, and two-light mullioned and transomed windows.
