Description
Blenheim Cottage is a house dating from the 18th century, with its facade positioned at right angles to the road. It is constructed of coursed, squared limestone and features a limestone slate roof with flat coped gable ends. The building has a single ashlar gable end stack with moulded tops and skirtings. To the left, there is a single storey extension and a small lean-to attached to the gable end facing the road. The cottage has two storeys and an attic, which is illuminated by a single gabled dormer and a window in the gable end. The front has two windows, which are 2 and 3-light 19th or 20th century metal casements with leaded lights, three of which have stone lintels with rough keystones above. There are additional buildings attached to the rear, but these are not of special interest.
