Description

The walls, gate piers, gates, and railings of Dale House date from the early 18th century and the mid-19th century. A 7-foot high wall to the east of the house serves as the north boundary of the garden and ramps down at the house end where there is a garden entry. The railings, which are part of the mid-19th century section of the house, feature floral-headed standards. The ashlar gate piers support a gate with a lozenge pattern. The wall continues to the west, also from the mid-19th century, enclosing the stable yard and standing about 5 feet high with a plain entry.
