Description
The Manse, originally associated with the Baptist Chapel, likely dates to before 1850. It is a two-storey building constructed of coursed rubble with a modern tiled roof and two ashlar chimneys. The front of the building, facing south, is largely concealed from the road. It features three windows with glazing bar sashes and simple keystones. A central, gabled porch with wooden lattice work leads to a panelled door. A lower, single-storey projecting cottage adjoins the right side. The property occupies an important position when viewed from Dale Street and the south.
