Description

Home Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse constructed from coursed squared limestone, topped with a limestone slate roof that features flat coping at the gable ends. The building has rectangular ashlar gable end stacks with moulded tops and skirtings, and an additional stack made of brick is located at the rear, attached to the wash house. The main block includes a wash-house and coal house attached at the rear left, while agricultural buildings at the rear right are not considered of listable quality.

The farmhouse is two storeys high with an attic, which is illuminated by two gabled dormers on the roof; one dormer has two lights and the other has three, both featuring 18th-century casements with leaded lights. The main façade has four windows, comprising a mix of 18th and 19th-century casements with leaded lights, along with some 20th-century casements that include transoms and glazing bars. The entrance features a six-panel door, with glazing replacing the upper panels, located off centre to the left, and is sheltered by an 18th-century porch that has a triangular pediment.
