Description
Cutsdean Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse that underwent significant alterations in the 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a limestone slate roof featuring ashlar stacks. The building has a square main body made up of two parallel blocks with another block at right angles on the right side. There are two staggered outbuildings attached to the left.
The farmhouse is two storeys high with irregular window placement. It features two stone-mullioned dormers along the eaves, with a three-light dormer on the left and a two-light dormer on the right. On the lower left, there is a three-light stone-mullioned window with a transom, which has a hood and diamond stops. To the right, there is a plank door set in a wide flat-chamfered surround. The right gable end is blank, and a former central entrance through the right wall has been blocked. A continuous string course runs around the house above the ground floor windows.
The left outbuilding is single storey and has a plank door in a flat-chamfered surround. The far left outbuilding has a former double door that has been reduced to a single plank door. The gable ends feature coping, and the stacks have moulded caps and skirtings. The interior has not been inspected.
