Description
A group of two monuments for the Lees family is located in the churchyard, approximately 2 meters south of the nave and west of the porch of the Church of St Michael. These monuments date from the late 18th century and early 19th century and are made of limestone. The group includes one pedestal tomb featuring oval and fielded panels, a moulded base and top with moulded coping, inscribed to Robert Lees, who died in 1802. The second monument is a chest tomb with recessed moulded panels and a coped top, inscribed to Neddy Lees, who died in 1782.
