Description
Hatherell and an unidentified monument are located about 1 metre from the centre of the south nave wall in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary. These two chest tombs date from the early to mid-18th century and are made of limestone. The unidentified monument features a flat top with a moulded plinth and capping, while the Hatherell tomb shows no visible plinth as it is sinking badly to the west. Both tombs have plain recessed panels on all sides, but the inscriptions are indecipherable.
