Description

Manor Farm Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage located in Little Rissington village, adjacent to Manor Farmhouse. It is constructed of coursed squared and dressed limestone with a concrete tile roof and a single ashlar stack. The cottage has a rectangular plan. A 20th-century flat-roofed single-storey extension to the rear is not considered to be of special architectural interest. The two-storey, two-windowed facade features a single 2-light casement window within a cambered-headed surround on the ground floor, and two 2-light casement windows to the first floor. A 19th-century plank door includes a single large glazed pane in the lower left. A gable-end stack, restored in the 20th century, has a moulded capping. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage is included on the list for its group value in relation to Manor Farmhouse.
