Description
Sunny Glebe is one of a pair of houses built between the late 17th century and mid 18th century. The building features orange coloured coursed squared and dressed limestone with cream coloured dressed stone quoins. The roof has a forward-facing pitch covered with slate, while the rear is finished with asbestos slate and stone ridge tiling. The house has ashlar stacks and a rectangular plan with a central stair projection at the rear. It stands two storeys high with an attic and has a three-windowed facade, which is lit by 3-light chamfer stone-mullioned casements, some of which have double chamfers and stopped hoods. There are also two 2-light 19th-century slate-hung dormers with timber-clad gables. The entrance features a part-glazed 20th-century plank door located off-centre to the left, set within a flat-chamfered Tudor-arched dressed stone surround that includes a keystone and imposts. The building has gable-end and axial stacks with moulded cappings and flat coped gables. The interior has not been inspected.
