LITTLE RISSINGTON LITTLE RISSINGTON VILLAGE SP 1819-1919 8/223 Enever House (formerly listed as House 25.8.60 immediately South of Rose Cottage) GV II Formerly house and adjoining cottage, now one house. House C18, cottage C19. House; coursed squared and dressed limestone with ashlar facade; cottage, orange coloured coursed squared and dressed limestone. Stone slate roof on the forward facing roof pitch of both house and cottage, concrete tile at rear. Rectangular plan to main body with cottage at the right gable end. C20 flat-roofed garage and extensions at rear, not of special interest. Main body; two storeys and attic lit by two 2-light rendered roof dormers. Symmetrical 2-windowed facade with flat- chamfered quoins; stone-mullioned cross windows with keystones. Central C20 plank door with fillets within a flat-chamfered Tudor arched surround with a keystone. Band between the ground and first floors. C19 cottage to right with lower roofline. Two-light wooden casement within a segmental-headed surround to the ground floor, similar 3-light casement to the first floor. C20 gabled stone-built porch to left with C19 four-panelled door at the front. Stacks and flat coping at gable ends of both parts.
