Description
Manor House is a converted farmhouse that underwent mid-19th century remodelling of a 17th-century original, reflecting the Cotswold architectural tradition. The building is constructed from coursed and squared rubble, topped with concrete roof tiles designed to imitate Cotswold stone slates, featuring coped verges and a stunted chimney on the right. It has an L-shaped plan and consists of two storeys and attics. The facade includes three gabled dormers and three sash windows, each with a single vertical bar and dripstones. There is a smaller similar window above the doorway, and the outer ground floor features a tripartite window. A projecting gabled porch adds to the entrance. At the rear, a 17th-century extension retains two bays of stone mullion and transom windows.
