Description
Kilmister and unidentified monuments are located about 4 meters south of the southwest corner of the nave in the churchyard of the Church of St. Peter. There are two chest tombs: one for Richard Kilmister, who died in 1816, and another unidentified tomb from the late 18th century. Both are made of limestone. The Kilmister monument features a two-step tent top, a moulded plinth on a raised base, lyre ends with carved foliage, and oval panels with roll moulding. It also has larger horizontal oval panels with engraved bronze inscription plates and flanking low relief carvings. The unidentified monument is nearly square, with a moulded plinth and capping, a stepped cap, indented corners, oval end panels with carved foliage, and plain square side panels with beaded moulding.
