Description

This is a former stable building, now a house within a terrace, dating to the mid-18th century. It was converted to residential use in the 20th century. The building is constructed of rubble stone with quoins, and has a roof of Cotswold stone slate. It comprises a front range and a longer, rear wing that projects. The front range is two storeys high and has three windows on the first floor, which are 20th-century casement windows. The ground floor has two doors at each end and various 20th-century windows. The rear wing retains a wide stone carriage arch facing north. The building is included on the list for its group value alongside numbers 29, 31 and 35 The Chipping.
