Description

No. 35 The Chipping is a house in a terrace, dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of rubble stone with a roughcast front and features a Cotswold stone slate roof, with a stone ridgestack to the left that is shared with No. 37. The building has two storeys and an attic, with two windows on the upper floor that are C20 metal casements. On the ground floor, there is a three-light stone mullion window with a square hoodmould to the left, and a two-light casement window in the original position of the door, which has been moved to the right and is now a C20 half-glazed door. There is also one gabled dormer with twin casements. This house is included for its group value.
