Description
No 25, located on The Chipping in Tetbury, is a late 17th-century building that was originally two cottages but has been converted into a single house within a terrace. The structure is made of rubble stone and features a slate roof with a small brick chimney on the left side. It has two storeys and an attic, along with a single-storey section to the left.
On the first floor, there is a two-light stone mullion window with a square hoodmould, while the ground floor has a three-light stone mullion window. The original door for No 25 on the right has been blocked, and a 17th-century stone frame has been added, which contains a single fixed leaded light and a wooden lintel. The former door for No 27 has been replaced with a 20th-century half-glazed door with a concrete lintel, and to the left of this door is a three-light wooden casement window, also with a concrete lintel. The building features a gabled dormer with twin casements.
