Description
Home Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of random coursed rubble stone with quoins on the left-hand side and features a stone slate roof at the front and concrete tiles at the rear. The building has three stone end stacks and consists of a single long range divided into two sections. The southern section is two storeys high, while the northern section has two storeys and an attic in the gable end, along with a rear extension that has a raking roof.
The farmhouse has four windows, with two paired wooden casements in each section; the right-hand side has longer windows, all positioned below the eaves on the first floor. On the ground floor, there is one similar window on the left with a timber lintel, a doorway featuring a large timber lintel and a sloping tiled hood, and a boarded door with a small single light. In the right-hand section, there are two paired casements like those on the first floor, along with a central blocked doorway that retains its timber lintel.
