Description
The bridge over the River Coln, located to the north of Mill House, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a single elliptical arch that rises approximately 1.5 meters above the bank level. The arch is made up of one row of evenly spaced voussoirs, with additional ashlar stone above. Below the plinth of the stone balustrade, there is a coping that forms a slightly projecting plat band. The bridge has central and end square piers, with the central pier featuring a bracket located beneath the plat band and a moulded outer edge to the flat coping. The parapet stands about 1.2 meters high, while the bridge itself is approximately 4 meters wide and 14 meters long.
