Description

No. 4 High Street is a mid-18th century house that includes a shop on the ground floor. It is constructed from random coursed rubble stone and has a stone slate roof, with no visible stacks. The building features a single front range with a rear wing to the left, and it stands two storeys tall with an attic. There are three windows on the front, which are 4-pane sashes with timber lintels on the first floor. The gabled dormers through the eaves have paired casements and stone slate hung gables. The ground floor has been altered in the 20th century, now featuring two bow shop windows and two half-glazed doors, both with timber lintels.
