Description
This open-fronted store is located against the north-east corner of the walled garden north of Rose Cottage. It dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century and is constructed of coursed squared and dressed limestone with a stone slate roof. The building has a long rectangular plan, and its rear wall forms part of the eastern boundary of the walled garden. The front features seven bays, with the far right and far left bays now blocked by timber cladding. The bays are divided by tapering stone monoliths that rest on square stone bases, topped with flat-chamfered capitals.
