Description
The outbuildings behind Broadwell Farm consist of a barn and stables, dating from the 18th to 20th centuries. They are constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone. The barn features a concrete tile roof, while the store to the left has a corrugated iron roof, and the stable block on the far left is thatched. This linear range of buildings includes a small gabled projection at the rear of the barn, with the stables set back slightly.
The barn has a double door on the far right, and stone steps lead up to a plank door with a gable above to the left. There are triangular ventilation holes in the sides and gable ends of the barn, along with a double plank door to the left. The single-storey stable block has four stable doors and four windows with glazing bars on the far left. Inside the barn, there are five bays supported by 20th-century collar and tie trusses. Other interiors have not been inspected.
