Description
These are three cottages located on the west side of the A433 in Barnsley village, with a datestone on an oval plaque in the center reading "Sir/J.M. BART/1851". The cottages are constructed from coursed rubble stone and feature a stone slate roof with three stone stacks and one brick end stack on the right. They form a single long range and are two storeys high. There are six windows in total, which consist of 20th-century paired metal casements, with two in each cottage. The ground floor includes one three-light and one two-light window for each cottage, featuring wood or metal casements. There is a plain boarded door with a single small light in each cottage, with the door for No 32 located to the left and the doors for Nos 33 and 34 to the right. All windows and doors have timber lintels.
