Description

The Larner monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard approximately 10 metres south west of the nave of the Church of St Michael. It dates from 1746 and is made of limestone. The tomb is rectangular in shape and features recessed side inscription panels that are flanked by floral drops. It has a domical coping on top with a cyma moulded design, as well as a cyma moulded base. The monument is inscribed to Drew Larner, who died in 1746.
