Description
Nos 26, 27, and 28 in Hatherop Village are former cottages dating from the late 17th century, which were restored in the 19th century. The buildings are constructed from random coursed rubble stone and feature a stone slate roof with five stone chimneys. They form a long single range with various small rear extensions, and include a single storey and an attic. The attic has seven small gables on the south side, each with 2-light wooden casements set beneath timber lintels. On the ground floor, there are three doors that are either glazed or half-glazed, accompanied by sidelights, as well as a mix of 2 or 3-light wooden or metal casements. The buildings correspond across the allotment garden to Nos 24 and 25.
