Description
Nos 11 and 12 in Hatherop Village were originally one house, built in the mid to late 17th century and later enlarged in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is constructed of coursed rubble stone and features a stone slate roof with stone end stacks, while the 19th-century wing to the left, now part of No 12, has a slate roof. The main structure consists of a single range that splits to the left at the porch into No 12, with a 20th-century extension to the side and rear of No 11.
The main section has two storeys and an attic, with two windows on each floor. These windows are three-light stone mullions with square hoodmoulds. The central porch projects and is gabled, topped with a finial, and has overhanging eaves and a triangular-headed stone archway. The attic features two small half-dormers that form gables, each containing a small two-light stone mullion window with a square hoodmould and a finial.
