Description

The pump and stone trough, located approximately 2 metres south of The Yews in Great Rissington, date from the 19th century. The cast iron pump was made by Hemmings of Burford and features a fluted design with a pumping handle and a small finial at the top. The accompanying limestone trough is large and has a segmental end, with the initial 'D' possibly representing Lord Dynevor, located at the rounded end.
