Description
The Greyhound is an inn located on Siddington Road, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone and features a stone slate roof with large scattered stone stacks, some of which have brick flues. The building has an L-shaped layout, with a front range that is two storeys tall and includes an attic, and a rear range that is also two storeys and runs parallel to the street.
The front elevation has three widely spaced long two-light stone mullion windows with iron casements. On the ground floor, there are two similar windows flanking a central projecting rectangular porch bay from the 20th century, which has a shallow hipped roof. The front also features two gabled dormers with paired six-pane casements. The side elevation has a mix of window styles, mostly similar to those on the front, along with some 20th-century insertions.
