Description
Siddington Manor is a large, detached house dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with flush quoins, and has a stone slate roof. The house features stone stacks with offset and grouped diagonally set square flues with a moulded cornice, positioned externally at the ends and along the centre of the ridge. The building comprises a double range, with an additional rear wing to the east and a single-storey wing to the west, arranged over two storeys and an attic.
The front facade has four windows, each a two-light stone mullion and transom casement with arched lights and a square hoodmould. The ground floor incorporates two large, canted bays with long stone mullions and transoms, arched lights, and hipped roofs. A central, two-storey gabled projecting wing features a two-light stone mullion with a square hoodmould above a longer two-light stone mullion and transom window. Two small gabled dormers are present, adorned with decorative bargeboards. A Tudor-arched plank door is located on the left-hand return, sheltered by a canopy and linked to the single-storey wing.
