Description

Siddington Hall is a large detached house, dating from the late 19th century and now divided into flats. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with flush stone dressings and has a stone slate roof, with scattered stone stacks. The building is a square range with two storeys and an attic. Designed in a Jacobean style, it features large curved and stepped decorative gable ends with finials to the south and west. There are two-storey canted bays with an embattled parapet and decorative frieze, with mullion and transom windows of a 2/4/2 pane design. Other windows have arched lights, some with transoms. Smaller, similar gables are scattered across the building. A projecting square porch bay is located on the north side, featuring an arched doorway. The interior remains uninspected, but may be of interest.
