Description

The ornamental stone basket located in the front garden of Bourton House in Bourton-on-the-Hill dates from around 1851. Made of limestone, it has an oval shape with interwoven decoration on its external surface. It is reputed to have come from The Great Exhibition and was formerly situated in the back garden.
