Description
St Anne's House, built around 1830, is a three-storey building located on the north-west side of High Street. It features an ashlar façade with a modillion cornice and a blocking course, with the roof visible behind a parapet. The ground floor is rusticated, and the building has three windows: the ground floor windows are sashes with glazing bars, while the first floor has French casements with cast-iron balconies, and smaller sashes are located above. The left-hand doorway has a semi-circular head and an enriched architrave, leading to a panelled door with a plain fanlight. There is also a smaller door to the left, which provides access to an alleyway and is designed to blend in with the rusticated ground floor. The building includes ashlar and stacks.
