Description
The Gazebo, located approximately 200 metres east of Sherborne House, is a mid-19th century structure built of ashlar stone. It has a rectangular plan and a flat roof, which is likely leaded. The gazebo is a single storey and features two stone steps leading up to an open front with three bays. This front is divided by two octagonal stone monoliths that have ogee-curved capitals and bases, set on square plinths. Engaged columns are positioned on either side of the entrance. The structure is topped with a moulded cornice and a parapet that has moulded capping. Inside, there is a stone flag floor and a wooden bench seat that runs along three sides.
