Description

No 29 High Street is a detached cottage dating from the late 18th century. It is built of random coursed rubble stone with flush quoins and features a stone slate roof with stone end stacks. The cottage has a single main range with a rear cross wing, which also has a slate roof and a small rear lean-to. It stands two storeys tall and has three windows, which are paired 6-pane wooden casements set in shallow reveals with stone sills. On the ground floor, there are two similar windows and a central 4-panel door, with the top two panels glazed and the lower two flush, all featuring large flush stone lintels. The rear wing includes a small tracery panel set in the south wall.
