Description

The stable located to the north-east of Broadlands is likely from the early 18th century. It is a two-storey building constructed of rubble with a Cotswold stone roof, and the gable end facing the road has been remodeled. The south-west front features two mullioned windows and a central door with an elliptical head, while there are no openings on the first floor. At the rear, there is a larger two-storey extension from the mid-19th century with a slate roof. This extension has an angled section that connects to the wider main part, with the wall-plate simply extended. The openings in this section have timber lintels, and there is a three-light mullion window on the north side.
