Description

Bow House is a 17th and 18th-century former farmhouse and byre, modernised, restored, and extended around 1913. The building is constructed of rubble with a Cotswold stone roof, and has three modern stone ridge stacks. The south front features two gabled dormers on the older part of the building. There are three windows with two-light casements and stone mullions. A carved panel depicting a tree is located to the left of the centre, commemorating “Waller” from around the 1920s. The ground floor includes two modern angled bays and a three-light mullioned window. A two-window extension in matching style has been added to the right. The rear of the building, facing the lane, has a central gabled break that may have originally housed a porch and stair.
