Description

Stapenhill Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse built in an 'L' shape. It is constructed of coursed rubble with Cotswold stone and has tiled roofs, with gable end chimneys built of ashlar and topped with moulded capping. The house is two storeys high with an attic. A gabled extension to the north features symmetrically arranged mullioned windows of two and three lights, each with cornices. The south front has two windows and includes C19 segment-headed three-light casements. A central half-glazed door is protected by a wrought iron tented porch. Windows are also located in the gables. A parallel 'L' plan range from the C19 extends to the rear.
