Description
Izod's Cottage, formerly known as Shrilaine, is a 17th-century traditional 1½ storey Cotswold cottage that was refronted in 1906. It features rubble stonework laid in diminishing squared courses and a Cotswold stone roof. The cottage has two off-ridge ashlar chimneys with cornices. There are two gabled dormers with three-light casements, and three windows overall: the outer ones are three-light, while the middle one is a two-light window with mullions in rebated surrounds. A ledged door is located to the left of the center. The cottage is included for its group value.
