Description
The Volunteer Public House is a mid-19th century building designed in a vernacular Tudor-Gothic style. It stands two storeys high and is constructed of coursed and squared rubble with a slate roof. The building features three pairs of diagonal chimneys. The windows are glazing bar sash types, with three on the first floor and two on the first floor, along with one on the ground floor to the right. The left side of the building has tripartite angled bays that flank a doorway, which also has a label. Additionally, there is a Tudor arched coach entry on the right side of the building.
