Description

This is a 19th-century bridge over the River Windrush, located approximately 300 meters southwest of Barrington Park House. The bridge is constructed from ashlar stone and features two rusticated segmental arches, each with a vermiculated keystone. There is a central pier with a diagonally set breakwater, and similar breakwaters are found at the bridge's abutments. The bridge has square piers with pyramidal cappings above each breakwater, and a low curving linking wall connects the piers on the bank. The original cast-iron railing, which formed a significant part of the bridge parapet, has been removed.
