2 houses, now offices. Early C19 with later alterations. Coursed squared limestone; Welsh slate roof; rebuilt brick ridge and right-end stacks. 3 storeys and cellar; 4-window range. First floor has two 6/6-pane sashes in plain reveals to left; two lengthened 6/6-pane sashes in plain reveals with stone cills to right. Second floor has four 3/3-pane sashes in plain reveals with stone cills. Ground floor has similar 6/6-pane sash to centre left; 2/2- 6/6- 2/2-pane triple sash with timber mullions in similar reveal to right. Door to left (No.53) is C20 six-panel in round-headed beaded opening with simple fanlight; door to right (No.55) is C19, 6-panel with decorative overlight in deep reveal up 4 steps. Deep plinth has 2 openings with simple iron grilles under ground floor windows; cill band to first floor left, now removed for window lengthening to right. INTERIORS not inspected.
