Description
The stables and shelter shed, located about 25 meters south of Empshill Farm, date from the late 18th century to early 19th century. They are constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a stone slate roof. The building has a long rectangular shape that steps down the slope. On the left side, there are three open bays separated by square ashlar piers. To the right, there are two stable-type doors, along with a single plank door and a double plank door leading to a section that has a higher roofline.
